"I came to Ryan and WineCellar Music Studios in the summer of 2004 hoping to record a demo to use for gigs. I enjoyed the experience so much I ended up recording an entire album. When I first showed up I was intimidated beyond my nerves, I was literally shaking in my shoes. I had been a fan of his music for years. So I was almost afraid that the sessions would quickly turn into a "Ryan Session" and that my ideas would be lost out to his. The opposite happened. Immediately I felt at ease with Ryan and he helped me turn the ideas I had in my head into actual living breathing songs. He listened to my ideas and threw in his own but at all times I had the sense that my song was my song. Now I think that his tastes meshed quite well with my own style but in the conversations I have had with him it is quite obvious to me that he can fit his playing and production techniques into any genre. He flat out knows music but more importantly he feels music. The word that comes to mind instantly when I think back to my sessions with Ryan is
'Vibe'.

I could not overstate the impact these sessions have had on not only my music but in myself as an individual. I have used the album I recorded with Ryan to step into not only larger venues but also to play with better musicians. I feel legitimate as an artist and my goals within my musical journey seem achievable because of the confidence I gained from my sessions at WineCellarMusic Studios. "
